Policemen shot dead security guard - Daily Times
KARACHI: Three drunken policemen have allegedly shot dead a security guard in Kharadar area when the deceased tried to stop them from consuming alcohol.
The police high-ups while taking the notice of the incident suspended and arrested the cops responsible for the incident.
According to details, the policemen opened fire on Mohib Hussain when he tried to stop them from consuming alcohol at Plastic Market in Kharadar on the night between Saturday and Sunday.
The injured guard was taken to Civil Hospital for medical treatment where he informed the police officials that the drunken policemen opened fire on him.
Later, the police reached the site and after inquiring about the incident registered a case against the policemen who were identified as Danish, Azmat, and Sami.
Another suspect, who has yet to be identified, was also involved in the incident and a case was registered against him as well.
These policemen were said to be sons of police officers and residents of Kharadar police line. District City SSP Faizullah Korejo said FIR has been registered against all the three cops and further investigation is underway.
