State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said Sunday that his office is suing an unlicensed employment agency and its owner for allegedly swindling its clients with phony jobs.
According to Schneiderman, Manhattan-based Delta Services Inc. is a sham employment agency that tricks jobless applicants into paying for expensive, and often unnecessary, security guard and other training courses.
“This office will not tolerate fraudulent, deceptive and illegal conduct of any kind, let alone against New York residents struggling to find work,” said Schneiderman, who is seeking a judge’s order to shut the company down.Send a Letter to the Editor
